Old Renegade (Marvin Davis 09) TB, 35", EM. Dramatic, classically formed, very ruffled plicata flowers have eggplant black standards that are delicately flashed and dotted white in the centers. Flaring, ruffled falls have a white ground with wide, dark eggplant black plicata rims; shoulders are touched yellow and the matching eggplant black beards are tipped gold. Many stalks are well branched and have 7-8 buds each. Very popular with garden visitors and a highlight of the spring garden!
